Christ Life Center

Rick Patterson, Ph.D., Th.D.  is the founder and pastor of Christ Life
, formally known as Jesus Fellowship.  Rick is married to Sharon
Patterson and they have two children.
In 1972, Rick founded and directed the campus ministry, Jesus
Student's Fellowship at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where
he was a student.  Upon graduation in 1976, Rick and his wife moved to
Miami, Florida where he began his studies in the Master's of Business
Administration program at the University of Miami.
It was at this time that Rick launched
Jesus Student's Fellowship at
the University of Miami.  As the ministry grew, many people outside the
university started attending the meetings and a community church began
  to emerge.

In 1981 a church property located at 9775 SW 87th Avenue in Miami,
Florida was purchased and the home for Jesus Fellowship was established.
Jesus Student's Fellowship continued as a campus ministry under Rick's
leadership and expanded to include the campuses of Florida International
University and Miami Dade Community College.
In the years following, Rick established Jesus Fellowship Christian
School which included grades K - 12 and founded the first Christian Internet
Broadcasting Network.  Additionally, he founded Miami Christian University
offering degrees in theology from associates to doctorate degrees.
Throughout his ministry Rick has preached and taught in many
countries throughout the world.  He helped to establish Jesus Fellowship
churches in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and in Marion, Indiana.   He
supports and has helped to establish churches, clinics, and schools in
many locations including Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Jamaica, the Bahamas,
  and the Dominican Republic.

Jesus Fellowship changed its name to Christ Life Center in 2007 to
more accurately reflect the focus of the ministry, which is to teach people
how to live out of the reality of the indwelling Christ life.
In 2010 Christ Life Center sold it's property at 9775 SW 87th Avenue in
Miami to Riviera Preparatory School where a high school facility was built.
Upon completion, Riviera Preparatory School requested that Christ Life
Center return to their property where the weekly services of Christ Life
  Center are currently held.

Rick pursued additional disciplines of study after having dealt with
personal health challenges and the neurological disorder of his son.  Rick
is certified as a Practitioner in NAET, NLP, CST, and NHR which are holistic
treatment approaches to healing the whole person.

Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET) is a
holistic treatment for the permanent elimination of food and
environmental allergies as developed by Dr. Nambudripad.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) encourages new behavior by
re-framing and shifting the context or meaning of one's thoughts and
feelings.  NLP has effectively been used to treat phobias, depression,
anxiety, and past trauma bringing healing to the mind.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a form of bodywork focused primarily
on regulating the flow of cerebrospinal fluid. CST uses therapeutic touch
to manipulate the joints of the cranium to release tensions deep in the
body to relieve pain and dysfunction, improving whole-body health and

Neuro-Hypnotic Repatterning (NHR) serves to restructure the
experiences one is having at the neurological and chemical level,
enabling one to redesign how they  connect with themselves physically,
       mentally, and spiritually.

Additionally Rick has provided services as a Financial Adviser, creating
management strategies for individuals, churches, and businesses.  He is also a
  licensed private pilot.

Currently, Rick has launched Caribbean Healing Ministries, a ministry
focused on bringing love and healing to the islands of the Carribbean.  He
continues to teach and conduct seminars and conferences  throughout the world.
